Chris Daughtry’s wife, Diana, denounced reports that the tragic death of her late daughter Hannah Price was investigated as a homicide.
The 48-year-old sad mother wrote a lengthy Instagram statement on Friday, in which she tried to delete any assumptions about the 25-year-old cause of death that echoed statements given by district attorney in Tennessee.
“The news that is floating around that we have said that our daughters death is being investigated as a murder is false !,” she wrote in excerpt along with a photo of her late daughter as a child.

Hannah was found dead at her home in Pentress County, Tennessee on Nov. 12, and the cause of death is still under investigation, despite early reports that detectives told family members it was murder.
‘The news floating around that we said that our daughters death was investigated as a murder is false! We were not told that and we were never told that! ‘, Diana began.
“On the day that Hannah was found, I shared some concerns I had with some people I could and said we would not know anything for sure until after they completed the investigation. One took things and ran with him. Or one talked to others who then made assumptions and ran with him to the press.
‘None of us can go to conclusions. To have questions and concerns is one thing but harassing someone and calling them a murderer before all the facts are in is wrong on every level regardless of their history, “she continued to say but did not specify directly to whom she referred to.

‘I have lost my child and I must now also deal with rumors and assumptions about her. The people who love her are sad and we grieve that they do not speak to the press, they do not spread any rumors and they make sure this is not about themselves. So everyone please just stop!
Let the investigating officers do their jobs and please remember that snippets of someone’s life do not define who they really are as a person. Hannah has been on earth with us for 25 years, there is so much more to her story than what you read.

According to Diana’s statements, prosecutors in Tennessee this week said it would be “too early” to accuse the death of Chris’ daughter’s stepdaughter as a homicide, dismissing reports indicating that detectives had Said that this is.
Jared Effler, the district attorney for Tennessee’s 8th Judicial District, made a statement to DailyMail.com on Monday, stating that no arrests have been made in connection with the death of 25-year-old Hannah Price.
Price’s boyfriend, Bobby Jolly, 25, was reportedly booked into Fentress County jail on Friday – the same day her body was found at her home in Nashville, Tennessee. Authorities have not said whether Jolie is a person of interest, or publicly stated why Jolie was arrested.
“This is a deadly investigation and any attempt to classify it as a homicide investigation at the time is premature and irresponsible,” the DA said on Monday. “Further, no one has been arrested in connection with the death of Ms. Price.”
A medical examiner at the regional forensic center in Knoxville has yet to discover the cause or manner of her death, and the family is still waiting for autopsy results.

‘I’m still processing the last 24 hours. I’m absolutely devastated and heartbroken. I just recently lost my mother to cancer but I was blessed with the opportunity to say goodbye and I processed it privately.
‘We never have to say goodbye to our dear Hannah and this is still a huge hit for our family. Thank you all for your kind words and condolences. They are truly felt and appreciated. I now take time to be present with my family as we attempt to heal from this devastating loss.

Chris and Deanna have been married for over two decades. The couple share 10-year-old twins Adalin and Noah and 23-year-old Griffin, with Hannah is from Diana’s previous relationship.
